Most Memorable Derby Moment: The first time I passed the 27/5 endurance test was when my boot camp teammates were watching me and cheering me on. I was involved with derby for two years before I ever passed. It felt really good to finally achieve that goal after all of the times I failed. I didn’t let my failures discourage me. I felt invincible in that moment when I heard “27! You got it!” and all of my friends cheering for me.
