What would you tell your pre-derby self about roller derby?: A sport where you wear wheels on your feet is going to change your life completely and for the better. You’re going to meet amazing people and they’re going to love how weird you are!

What have been some of your ‘Greatest Hits’ on the track?: At practice, I got a quick reminder about physics and inertia: if you’re skating full speed forward and try to jump backward to avoid a hit, your momentum cancels out and you end up jumping straight in the air. This resulted in me being in the prime position for the skater (Red Panda) coming in for the hit to legally sweep my legs. I felt like I hung in the air like a cartoon character before crashing to the floor.

Likes: Getting caught in the rain, the feel of the ocean, and the taste of champagne

Dislikes: I’m not much into health food, yoga, or red tape
